You are receiving this error because the app or Wii component you are attempting to access no longer exists. It was terminated as a part of WiiConnect24 in the summer of 2013.

Error code 209600

f you are attempting to connect your Wii console online using a wireless router and you receive this error :

Ensure you are using a broadband or high speed internet connection such as cable, DSL, or fiber optics. Slower connections, such as dial up, may cause issues with the Wii or may not work properly.

Ensure there is no interfering devices by shutting off microwaves, cordless phones, wireless keyboards, and wireless mice.

Diable your firewall settings, as it may be causing a connection problem.

Try changing the channel of your wireless router to either channel 1 or channel 11 which can increase download speeds. Be sure to test both channels to see which works better or faster.

If you are using a Netgear wireless router, disable the SPI firewall setting which is usually found under the WAN Settings of your wireless router.

If you are attempting to connect your Wii console online using the Nintendo Wireless (Wi-Fi) USB Connector and you receive this error :

If your PC is using security features or programs such as a firewall, antivirus, or antispyware, check all settings of these security features or programs to allow a successful connection.

You may try adding the following programs to your firewall list of "Trusted" applications

  • Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector USB (NintendoWFCReg.exe)
  • Setup.exe (when installing the USB Connector)
  • SoftAPInstDrv.bin
  • mdriver.exe

Temporarily disable your router's firewall which may allow the Wii console to connect online to recieve a system update. After, you may turn your firewall back on.

Error Code :51100 Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Setup

Error Code: 51100

The WEP key for the Access Point you are attempting to connect to has changed since you last connected.
What to do:

    • Errors ending in 0 = connection file 1
    • Errors ending in 1 = connection file 2
    • Errors ending in 2 = connection file 3
    • Errors ending in 3 = Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
  • Verify the Access Point's WEP Key is entered correctly into the Nintendo DS. If your router has slots for more than one WEP key, the first (#1) must be the one selected on your router.

If you have multiple connection files saved to your Nintendo DS, the error message you received can help determine which connection file may be experiencing a problem:

Trying to connect to wifi usb connector and keep getting error code 52203

I'm assuming you are talking about the nintendo DS. Here is the info on that error code straight from nintendo:

Error Code: 52203
The Access Point you are attempting to connect from is not connected to the internet or a firewall is blocking traffic necessary for connecting to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. What to do will depend on where you are trying to connect from: What to do:
If you have multiple connection files saved to your Nintendo DS, the error message you received can help determine which connection file may be experiencing a problem:
    • Errors ending in 0 = connection file 1
    • Errors ending in 1 = connection file 2
    • Errors ending in 2 = connection file 3
    • Errors ending in 3 = Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
  • Verify that your router is connected to the internet when attempting to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. If you are not able to access the internet on your computer, then there is a problem with your internet connection. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for more information.

  • America Online (AOL) broadband users may experience difficulties when attempting to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Please contact America Online for assistance.

  • If this error occurs regularly, while you are playing at home, it is likely a connection problem related to your firewall settings. For more information on firewalls and the Nintendo WFC, click here.
If the above information does not work, and you are using the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, click here for additional assistance.
If the above information does not work, and you are connecting at home with a wireless router, there could be settings on your router that need to be adjusted. Please click here for more information.

Connecting from a non-partnered Hotspot:
If you have multiple connection files saved to your Nintendo DS, the error message you received can help determine which connection file may be experiencing a problem:
    • Errors ending in 0 = connection file 1
    • Errors ending in 1 = connection file 2
    • Errors ending in 2 = connection file 3
    • Errors ending in 3 = Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
  • The access point at the Hotspot may not be experiencing problems. Ask the staff on site if their Wi-Fi network is up and running.

  • If the Hotspot's access point has a built-in firewall or other security that interferes with the necessary transmissions from the Nintendo DS, then the access point will not be compatible with the Nintendo DS.

  • Try another Hotspot. To search for known Hotspots in your area, click here.
