The carb seized up and broke the throttle shaft. I have two of these similar models, Seem to use the same engine and carb., The other is the "backpacker" model. Same engine, same carb. It says to try www.homelite.com or 1-800-242-4672 for parts. I'll take a look.

I went to the site www.homelite.com , found the parts, and ordered online with a CC. Not bad.

Parts probably cost more than the leaf blower, but it was given to me by a friend, so I can't kick.,

HINT: Use the SEARCH MODEL NUMBERS link and then use 08010 and it will list the whole line. It is listed as an 08010-B model. Good Luck!

My Homelite Mighty Lite 26b Leaf blower has a punctured primer bulb. Homelite doesn't list the part number. Model number UT08520A Can you help? Thanks, Ed Mckinney,Tx

Homelite wants to sell you a new carburetor assembly. Your blower came equipped with a RuiXing brand carb. RuiXing does not offer any repair parts for their carbs, only replacement units.
Now for the good news....a Zama brand primer bulb fits perfectly on the RuiXing carbs. Check with your local small engine repair shop for a Zama primer bulb. The blower requires removal af the carb to get at both of the screws that hold on the bulb. It is not difficult, just one nut holds on the outer airbox cover...don't lose the little washers. Then one long stud and one short screw will take the carb off. Replace the primer bulb and reinstall everything the same way it came off.
Good luck!

I am looking for carb kit for my homelite leaf

Does your model #ut-08010, Have a letter after it. Homelite lists 5 or 6 models of that unit. Plus the kit they show is a complete carburetor with gasket. You will have to figure out which carburetor they put on your blower. Either a Walbro or Zama carburetor and it model to figure out which kit it will need. The homelite kit lists for about $67.00 USD.
You can go to www.precisionope.com and look it up under OEM parts.
Hope it helps.
Good Day.

Homelite ht-17 magneto

Go to Gardnerinc.com and click on consumer. Then click on partsmartweb. On the left side of this page change your selection from Kohler to Homelite Consumer Products and enter your model number. You have it as HT 17. This brings up a lot of different equipment so I would enter just part of the serial number or the ut number. This is located on the body of the trimmer on a silver tag.
This will take you to the parts illustration and parts list for your trimmer.

Blower

You need to rebuild the carburetor. Go to m-and-d.com then parts diagram then illustrated parts online then parts look up then under select OEM select Homelite then do as instructed. You should find the parts you need and hopefully the parts breakdown for the carb. this will help you in the rebuild. If it does not have the parts breakdown for the carb. find what mfg and model carb. it is then go to that site for breakdown.
