Question about Maytag PYE2300AY Electric Dryer
The dryer was working fine then in the middle of a load it stopped working. I pressed the start button and it worked for about 10 seconds. Now when you push the start button there is nothing. Power is fine. I replaced the start button but still the same. Timer is counting down fine. The drum moves fine. The starter must trip a relay. Where is the relay? The orange wires run down the back and the schematic diagram doesn't have colors on the wires. My Maytag just done the same thing.. quit working in the middle of drying a load of clothes. No signs of any problem. I checked my breakers..no problem there. There's no power at all when I push the button. What could be wrong with it and is it something I can fix?
