Re: cant load my printer
Go to the Printers and Faxes window to see if any printers are installed. If there are no printer icons then disconnect the printer, use the installation cd for the printer then connect the printer and you should get a "New hardware found" message. Then it should automatically load the drivers.
If there is a printer icon already then right click on it and ensure that the "Use printer online" "Set as default" options have a check mark.
If you do not have the cd for the printer it can be downloaded for free from hp.com. Post back if you need further help. Steve

The cause of your problem is simple: your "cache"
memory & "temporary internet files" are nearly full.
This is especially true if you've been watching lots
of videos or playing a lot of games/music.
If you are experiencing either: A) slugglish loading
and buffering, B) "choppy" videos which frequently
start/stop/start/stop, C) the YouTube dotted circle
looking like it might spin for ever, or D) videos that
will sometimes come to a sudden "stop" or freeze,
that is often a sign that your cache/memory is full
and cannot take anymore.
Exit out of YouTube (but not your browser) and do
one of the steps below. Afterwards, shutdown and
reboot. Not only will this "free up" your computer's
memory, everything will be "fresh", and load faster:
Internet Explorer 6:
→ Tools → Internet Options
→ Delete Cookies → OK
→ Delete Files → OK
→ Clear History → Yes
Internet Explorer 7:
→ Tools → Internet Options → Delete...
→ Delete files → Yes
→ Delete cookies → OK
→ Delete history → OK
→ Close (browsing history window)
Internet Explorer 8:
→ Tools → Delete Browsing History
[. ] Preserve Favorites (leave blank)
[x] Temporary Internet files
Mozilla Firefox 3:
→ Tools → Clear Private Data
[x] Browsing History
[x] Download History
[x] Saved Form and Search History
→ Clear Private Data Now Google Chrome:
→ Tools (wrench) → Clear browsing data...
[x] Clear browsing history
[x] Clear download history
[x] Empty the cache
[x] Delete cookies
Clear data from this period: → Everything
→ Clear Browsing Data
For active desktop please follow the given steps and surely you find the solution, Firstly click on the start button and go to RUN option. Type regedit and press ok, Registry window will be open. Than follow the steps-
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\Safe Mode\Components Change the value of DeskHtmlVersion to zero instead of decimal 272. After that press F5 button of keyboard few times or restart the system Good luck, Thanks
Here is my advice : Just go to www.microsoft.com and download internet explorer again and install it , then reboot your system . I'm sure that this will solve the problem . any way , why don't you try other internet communication softwares like ( firefox or google chrome) those both are great also . I advice you to have more than one internet communication software . I already have three just in case if one of them is corrupted . I have ( Internet explorer and firefox and google chrome ) . just try the idea and you'll be satisfied with the result .
good luck .
Uninstall everything. Reboot. Unplug the printer. Install the software. Reboot. When everyting is up. Plug in the printer. Have the driver disc ready, install the printer. Reboot, go to settings, printers and see if the printer is listed. If it is, make it the default printer.Good luck
Uninstall any drivers that are partly installed reboot. plug in printer do NOT turn on. Install drivers after drivers loaded a popup should appear asking you to connect printer. turn on printer ensure usb cable is connected. Computer should then find printer hope this helps
It sounds to me that u are using windows_vista ?? Vista has to have its OWN o/s software\programs made specially for it! TRYOUT::turn off all virus scanning software, firewalls, etc, etc, EVERYTHING that loads automatically .One way is to wait after u turn on the computer.wait!, wait!, then close everything that sits on the bottom of the right screen.Connect your Linksys so that your o/s sees it., Load the drivers AFTER that, then see what happens. TRYOUT 2:: goto [start]bottom left of screen (no!, the other left!!)ONLY KIDDING! [run] msconfig, select "secective startup", UNcheck everything that looks like it is protecting your computer.[reboot] then follow TRYOUT_1 GOOD LUCK, jardy
