I need recipes for the counter top convection oven

If you look around e-bay or even local stores there are plenty, but the real trick is understanding that it will simply cook a little quicker with less chance of over, or undercooking areas as the fan forced heat keeps the temp very constant. Bakery items can be tricky but mixes usually come with tip for convection baking. If using your own recipes try checking similar items in the store and see what they change in their directions when using a convection vs conventional oven.

I have a Norge 3H9TZ-EV stove. The oven & broil elements stopped working suddenly & there are no fault codes. Power to the stove is good, there are no blown fuses and nothing visibly wrong with the...

I had a similar situation happen to my GE Stove. I tested the incoming wires and found power on both. I couldn't find anything wrong either.. What I did find though was that the Circuit breaker itself had "half died", meaning that only one pole of the dual circuit breaker was working. I tried resetting it over and over only to find that it was completely fried. I went to the hardware store and got a new circuit breaker. I first looked for any loose wires on the elements and the burners of the stove that could have provided a ground fault, and after finding none, I installed the new breaker and flipped it on after plugging the oven back into the wall. Voila! everything worked fine! Installing a new breaker can be scary at first. you may want to consult a professional to check the breaker for you. Or if you are comfortable doing it yourself, then go for it. At least you'll know if the breaker is good or not. Once I had the breaker off of the circuit panel I checked it for continuity with a voltmeter and found only one side working. The panel I have allows you to just "pull" the breaker straight off of the panel. Some are screwed in, some are popped in, it just depends on the manufacturer. So, based on my experience, that is what I would do. Perhaps it's the wall outlet, but I doubt it. If you want to check that, use a voltmeter to check each incoming wire for proper voltage. Some symptoms I had with my oven were the panel would be on and would "click" like it was turning on the oven, but nothing would happen. Or the Burners would work, but only heat up halfway. The Broiler wouldn't even come on at all. Let us know how it goes!

DOES NOT FREEZE

Hello,

The first thing I would do is to check the compressor and the condenser fan. Remove the cover on the back of the fridge and check how hot is the compressor? Is the condenser fan turning well? Also check the condenser coil under the fridge, it is very possible it needs cleaning.
If the condenser fan is not working properly then it has to be replaced.
If the condenser fan motor is fine and the cleaning did not help then the sealed system is low on Freon and in such case you need a certified technician to fix a leak and to charge the system.
Good luck in solving the problem...

There is a red glow from coil at bottom back of freezer that I can see through slats from inside. There is a sizzling water drip happening.

there is an element in there for self-defrosting, if you have a self-defrosting model. It heats up like an oven element ( not nearly as hot) to get rid of frost build up.

Things in freezer melt and re-freeze

Your condenser fan motor at the compressor is either filthy or needing to be replaced. Air flow is pulled over compressor to keep it at a good operating temp. If the fan cannot pull air across compressor it will over heat and shut down on overload. Imagine working in yard on hot summer day and wearing a dust mask over your mouth and nose. Your body shuts down more needing more rest. Same thing with refrigerators, they have to be able to breathe properly also.

Traulsen URS36DT:

checking a def system is kind of easy. if you have located the defrost timer just turn the little knob on the timer until the unit shuts off, shortly you should hear "hissing and pooping" from water dropping on the heater. this lets you know that the defrost thermostat is good. if you dont hear this noise check your def thermostat and heater for continuity. if you put it into def and the heater comes on then you have a bad timer..
