Question about Pioneer SD-P55A3-K 55" Rear Projection Television
I replaced the 392-110's on my Pioneer with a pair a friend gave me. For about a day convergence was fine and now the red is back to flipping out. (Get's so bad it blows the fuse) I was thinking I'd invest in a couple of STK392-180's (Pioneer's suggested replacement). On the Pioneer site they are 40 bucks an IC. I've seen sites claiming to have Sanyo brand for $15bucks. Is this trustworthy or do I have to bite the bullet and more than double my cost?
You get what you pay for. At http://www.partstore.com they STK392-180 is 29 and change . AND yes replace them with the 180 as the 110s are not powerfull enough. Good Luck
