Question about Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook
Hi all, i recently had the hard drive replaced on my laptop ( dell inspiron 6000 notebook ) i dont seem able to use the touchpad for scrolling purposes,is there a way to enable it ? many thanks
First, install the touchpad driver, then the computer restarts. When it restarts, and you log back in, there will be a touchpad icon i the lower right corner of the screen. Right click on this new icon and click "Mouse Properties". Now, click on the "Gestures" tab in this window. Now, select the option that says, "Use Scroll Function". Finally, click "Apply" in the lower right corner of the window and your touchpad scroll feature will work again!
P.S. I had the same problem, and this is how i fixed it!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
