Question about Husqvarna Viking 1
As usual I should have researched before tearing into the machine - the fix would have been much easier. Here is the problem there is a small spring that is attached to a small white wheel (in the area that runs the needle) I can't find what it was attached to. Second problem a small piece of tubing fell out and I can't figure out where it goes. It looks a little like a 22 case and is just under a half inch long, one end is a complete circle and smooth while the other end is half smooth on the end and appears to have had a small section broke off as it is ruff in that area.
Thank you for any help you can give me.
Wow, that is good detail on the tube that fell out. If it is a brass colored tube that is open on both ends then you need a new crank slide. You may also notice that the take up lever can be moved up and down about a quarter to half of an inch. That sleeve can't be put back so that it will stay, and installing a new crank slide is probably something that you will want someone to show you how to do, not read from a manual.
Is the small white wheel near the drive belt? If so, it is to hold tension on the belt. Let me know and I will look in one and can tell you where to hook it.
