I can not locate model or serial on duo theme by dometic air conditioner. Located electrical serial no e9196051 inside but cannot find AC info. Pls help

If it's a 'ducted' installation you will need to drop the filter, usually 6 screws. Then you will see the air intake area sealed off from the rest of the unit. Looking to the rear of the RV the intake will have some sort of baffle that may even have the aluminum duct tape helping to seal the intake from the ducted output. My Model & SN were located on a tag on the AC unit behind that baffle. Mine was totally covered and without removing the tape and baffle I would never have found it. Good luck---

Dehumidifier stopped collecting water, how to fix it

try humidifying the air with a humidifier to make sure there is humidity in the air for the dehumidifier to dehumidify. seriously no . Is the air coming out of the unit warm ? if not the compressor is probably not working or if it is very warm the refrigerant for the condensation reaction has leaked out. Buy a new one or return that one

Dehumidifier Duracraft E1 error code on led display and red power light flashing. No action from unit.

HI.Error code 1 usually informs us that the filter needs cleaning. This might be needed qwhen the unit runs for 740 hours or more.So you need to manually clean the filter by removing firsst the cover then .you have to unscrew.remov e the filter located at the backmost part of the a/c unit. You can actually apply pressurized water to removed debris or apply detergent to soften hard debris.Thank you for choosing fixya.

I have a new Whirlpool AC model ACQ 128 GPW. It does a super job of cooling but what is the best way to dehumidify without using the cooling system or is this a very poor way to dehumidify? You have...

Dale, my best advice is do not operate the cooling function and the dehumidifier at the same time. The dehumidifier will generate heat, which will cause the AC to have to work harder. It's best to operate them separately. Besides, the AC works somewhat like a dehumidifier, so it's extracting some moisture anyway.

Hope this helped you Dale. Thanks for choosing FixYa, again.

Your model has been discontinued, But, you can obtain an Owner's Manual by calling Delonghi Consumer Support at 1-800-322-384. They will usually email it to you as an attachment.

Hope this helped you.

AC is New Air model ACP 1000 E The unit fills up every 5 hours. Is there a way to run the AC without the dehumidifier? The setting is currently on the snowflake.

No, a byproduct of cooling the air is condensation....or dehumidification... so in short.. if you want to cool the air you will also dehumidify it...

My danby DPAC 12030 is leaking water down the front

Since, I believe your model s a multifunction unit (Air Conditioner and Dehumidifier), Which can be operated together or separately. There are two things which may be causing this problem. If the dehumidifier function is operating the water collection tank o bucket may be full and needs to be emptied. In conjunction with this, the air intake filter on the inside front of the unit may be dirty or clogged.

There is a third thing that is also playing a role in this. The tubing that drains the water into the tank may be clogged. Which causes the water to backup and overflow. You can clear any clogs by using an 18" long, plastic Zip Tie, that is appropriately sized to fit inside the tube or hole. Insert it carefully and work it in past the bend in the tube, until the Zip Tie bottoms out or you run out of usable Zip Tie. The rotate (twist) it as you carefully remove it. As you reach the end of the Zip Tie, be prepared for some water to follow. CAUTION: BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY SERVICE OF THE UNIT, TURN THE MASTER ON/OFF SWITCH TO OFF & UNPLUG THE UNIT FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET.

Also keep in mind When dehumidify mode is selected, the indicator light will shine ORANGE. Air is
dehumidified as it passes through the unit, without being in full cooling mode. The fan will operate on medium speed. If room temperature is 25°C (77°F), fan speed can be adjusted; otherwise fan speed is fixed to "low". Note: The warm air exchange hose must vent inside the room when using Dehumidify Mode, not outside as it does when cooling. If the unit is vented outside, some cooling will occur.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

I have a Martin Industries model DH50 dehumidifier that runs constantly until full of water. I can't shut the unit off without unplugging it and I can't control how dry I want the area. What part...

Dont spend to much time trying to repair dehumidifier they are very cheap to replace. Most dehumidifiers have lots of problems because they are made so cheap. Just replace the dehumidifier you will tank me in the end.
