Try to disconnect the wire assembly from CN706 found on page # 42 of your service manual. The +12 volts line could be shorted by IC701.

I am getting a HD signal to my HDTV with HDMI but the coax out connection is not working. Should I call DISH or ???

Hi jgolf721my name is Mike Houston of DISH Network and I was reading your post and I waswondering if your not getting a picture through the COAX connection. The COAXconnection will not transmit a HD picture only SD, and if your not getting apicture at all you will want to check some things. You will want to make sureit is on the right input or channel and unplug the receiver for 10 seconds andafter you plug it back in it will power up. You should see a DISH Networkscreen acquire the signal, if you have anymore questions you can e-mail me. Michael.houston@dishnetwork.com

We can't look at our recordings and when we try to click on my recordings the box shuts off

Hi, my name is Cheri Torres and I am with DISH Network Customer Service. I came across your post and wanted to see if I could help. I do have a few questions about the issue that you are having so that I can give you the best possible answer on how to fix this. When you try to access your recordings do you ever get an error message and if so what is the three digit number in the top right corner of the error message? Once your receiver box turns off does it reboot itself and turn back on or do you have to do something specific to get the receiver box to turn back on? One trouble shooting step you may want to try if you already have not is unplugging your DISH receiver from the power source outlet for 10 seconds then plug back in. In order to respond back to my questions you can either post back here or you can also email me at Cheri.Torres@Dishnetwork.com and I will be happy to assist you further. Thanks! :)

My DISH Network DVR-625 DTV Receiver randomly freezes and resets itself and will only record 6-9 minutes of a program even though i have 50+ hours of available space. i've reset it several times. help?

ambrekulas,

I am sorry you are having problem with your picture freezing. You said you reset the receiver several times. Did you press the power on the receiver and release or did you unplug the receiver from the electrical outlet? Try unplugging it for about 10 seconds if you haven't already done so. If the problem persists, we'll need to replace the receiver. If you have any other questions, please post to this site.

My cannot access my DVR.

Hello Ranadhalliwa! My name is Becki Barned, and I am with Dish Network customer service. I read your blog, and see that you are having problems with your dvr. But the post is a little vague. Are you having problems with the remote going to your dvr? Are you getting an error message? regardless, one of the best resolutions to this, and about 90% of any issues you could have, is to unplug the receiver from the power source for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in, and let it reboot. If this doesn't resolve it, or you have any other issues, please blog back, and I would be more than happy to help you out with this issue!

My receiver will not power on. if you runplug it and again plug it in, it will stay on for 2 sec and shut off

My name is Becki, and I'm with Dish Network Customer Service. This issue sounds like a power issue. If you have the receiver plugged into a surge protector, try plugging it straight into the wall. If already in the wall, try unplugging it for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, the receiver needs to be replaced. If this issue has not already been resolved, blog back!

For the second time within a week all of my timers are gone. Any idea why they would all disappear.?

Hello, my name is Becki Barned, and I am with Dish Network customer service. I have read your post, and have some answers for you! The Dvr can, at times, delete the timers. Just try to unplug your receiver from the power source for about 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, or you have other questions, blog back!!!! You can also find Dish Network on Twitter! Happy troubleshooting! :)
