Try revouninstaller.
http://www.revouninstaller.com/

It is very highly unlikely that your old driver would be interfering with the new driver.

You can get logitech webcam drivers from

I can't uninstall Logitech webcam software 2.0 from the control panel, I push remove,& it just reverts back to0 the same screen

Many devoces have their own uninstall program. Push Start, then all programs, and look for Logitech, Webcam, and see if it has a program in the folder called "uninstall Logitech" or something to that effect.
Also, if you are upgrading to a different Logitech webcam software, the program might uninstall the 2.0 as a process of installation.

I can't seem to get the microphone to work. The video works fine though.

You should uninstall the webcam and then reinstall it. Go to add/remove hardware if you are on Windows, then select the webcam and remove it. Restart your computer, then plugin the webcam again and run any software (such as the cd that came with it) again.

My 2.0 mega pixelsgigaware webcam stopped working. Do i have to re-install that software?

That would be a good place to start.

First go into add and remove programs (if you are running XP or earler OS's) (in vista or windows 7 look for Program and Features in the control panel) then uninstall your camera.

Next unplug your camera then restart your computer. (this will clean all remaining files associated with your camera.

now go ahead and install your camera software and follow onscreen instructions.

Now if your camera does not come back to life it could mean that the camera is defective and you may need to purchase a new one.

good luck and have a great day

I have the cd to download for my cam, but when I download the cd, it will not allow my cam to work. It keep telling me something about the administrator, but I am the administrator. What shall I do ????

You probably have vista - try uploading as administrator - right click select 'Run as administrator'

If that fails uninstall the software - plug in the webcam and reboot the computer.
Allow the 'New hardware Detected' feature to install the software automatically before you start any programs.

I can't get special features on my webcam

Ok, the for notebooks part is actually what I needed. Try clicking the link below(if it doesn't work I'll give you a longer way to get there), then select your version of windows and it will offer you the drivers and software you need.

Let me know how you make out,

I cant instal web camera in messenger

hi,

First, make sure you follow the instructions from your camera manufacturer to ensure the proper installation of your camera.
This involves inserting the camera installation CD, being guided through a few steps for installation, and restarting your computer. Plugging in the camera's USB cord at the incorrect time during the camera software installation procedure can cause various problems.
To reinstall your webcam:
Uninstall any existing camera installations. Click "Start," "Settings," "Control Panel," and "Add/Remove Programs." From the list, choose your webcam software and click Remove.
Unplug the camera's USB cord from the computer.
Reboot your computer.
Insert your camera's setup/installation CD.
Follow the instructions described by the camera setup program, and plug in your camera only when prompted. This is usually done after restarting your computer.

thanks,
