Problem for Westinghouse LTV-30W2 Television

Samsung LCD TV, no picture only sound

Samsung 52inch LCD TV. When turned on the picture flickers for a few seconds and then goes off. There is still sound. It is out of warranty by 2 weeks and Samsung have refused to help!

is the picture clear when on? if yes, does the screen go black after a few seconds. if yes, sounds like you need a back light inverter!
