My proheat 2x 9400 worked fine last week. This week it will not put out water or cleaner for the floor but will through the wand. I tried all the suggestions in the manuel and the ones online at bissell any other ideas?

I have Bissell 9500 ProHeat 2X CleanShot Upright Deep Cleaner, it does not shooting water or cleaner, can anyone help?

Same problem here. Removed sprayer nozzles and ran hot water through them, but no difference. Spray comes out of the wand just fine. Does anybody know if there are separate pumps for the wand and the floor sprayers? The cust. service rep tried to tell me that the pump needed to be reprimed, but that would only make sense if there are separate pumps.

Check to see if the spray tips are clogged with soap. when you remove the water tank you will find them located on each corner in the front of your steamer. they are usually red in color. pull both side tabs together then lift out. remove clamp then carefully pull the hose off. i have had the hose rip on me before so do use caution. you should see the clog if there is one and should come out in hot tap water. there are several things that could cause this problem but this is the most likely. good luck!!!

always before you store your machine put it on the rinse cycle and clear all soap so it doesn't harden inside and clog.

Since the last use of my new ProHeat X2 carpet

Check the lint filter. It is located in the top clear plastic section (the one with the dial to switch from floor to tool mode). On the underside of this section is a small (about 1 inch square) red plastic piece with a little door on it. Flip open the door and you will probably find it is clogged. Clean it out and you should have full suction again.

maybe there's not enough vacuum or it hasn't been primed enough. I have a proheat that drove me crazy till I started leaving the heat switch on. I get wads of carpet fiber that mat around brush and spit out on the carpet, so I frequently remove them. I'm just wondering if after you empty the water, it may not have built up the suction. Good luck! hope this may be helpful

The first thing to check is the belt: if the rubber belt from the motor to the pump is stretched or missing, the pump will not operate. If the belt seems fine, either your pump has gone bad or you have a clog somewhere in the lines.

Bissell 1699 ProHeat Clear View uses very little soap.

The valve at the bottom of the soap tank may have gone bad, Also try running a mix of water and vinegar(not on carpet) to see if it will clean the system out. The system may just need cleaning out.
