Refrigerator was not running and was making a clicking noise. We may have a low electrical power problem throughout the house. Imhae thrown the circuit breaker to stopthe clicking.

The clicking noise is likely the compressor overload tripping.

Here are some tips that may help solve your problem:

• You will need to clean the condenser coils under the refrigerator. Unplug the refrigerator to completely disconnect electrical power. Carefully remove the cardboard cover at the bottom of the back panel of the refrigerator to access the coils and clean under the refrigerator. To thoroughly clean the coils, I recommend that you obtain and use a coil brush. It is a long, round brush with a handle designed for cleaning refrigerator coils.
• Check your condenser fan to make sure that it is running when the compressor is on. If not, this could be causing your problem.
  
• Be sure to replace the cardboard cover on the bottom of the back panel of the refrigerator. If this cover is not in place, air will not flow over the coils properly.
  
• Re-post with your findings.

possibly the compressor is running harder due to either being low on freon or the condensor coils are dirty not letting the heat to be released causing the the compressor itself to overheat.

When you say "The items in the freezer are cold with some ice on them. I have tried emptying the ice tray, but that does not help." Is there literally ice from the ice bucket dripping on the food and refreezing, or is there a layer of frost on the food? the noise you are hearing is most likely due to the evaporator fan motor running at alternating low and high speeds. This is a variable speed motor, but there could be quite a few reasons why the motor is not rotating at regulated speeds. the fan motor itself, a faulty thermistor, you could also have an issue with your main control board, or least of all a wiring issue.
You would be wise to have it inspected by a reliable refrigerator repair service, to at least determine what the problem is for certain.

Main board is defective. Replace part # should be wr55x10552.

This noise is because there's not enough water in the filter.
Make sure the levers are in open position when you pump.
Once the air is thrown out of the system should work, then it's the time when you should connect it to power, not before.

Is the noise clicking consistantly?or just on again off again?Yes there may be a faulty motor.Try removing the wires and tape them up then run the unit if there is still noise need more info .And to let you know yes they can be made into a low quality air compressor:) hope i helped :)

hi, this is not normal at all. this is a manufacturing flaw the resides in the compressor build. there is way to much pressure being produced threw the lines. the compressor regulator seems to be flawed in its design. i would recommend purchasing a aftermarket compressor Assembly for this unit. the noise itself is a dead give away for flawed compression in the core Assembly.

Sounds like the freezer fan blade is hitting on a build up of ice or frost. You may have a defrost issue, or it may be a one time thing, like the door was open for a long time (object holding door partially open) or also check the ice dispenser duct door to make sure it is closing. Sometimes a chunk of ice hangs up in the ice shoot, allowing moist air to enter freezer, resulting in the extra frost / ice near the freezer fan. You might also check the door gaskets, especially the bottom side where sugary liquid spills might cause a gasket to tear. #2: Long run times: If cooling is good, don't worry. Older refrig's often ran less time, but used much more electricity than the newer refrig's, even though new one run longer. (Like having a 40 watt light bulb on for 20 hours a day uses less electricity than having a 100 watt bulb on for 10 hours a day)

it is the color wheel i have a similar problem and am looking for the part, the color wheel is a small electric motor that spins at a high speed and it can go bad. which will lead to the horrible squeel/hum/buzz.
