Sounds like a power supply regulator board fault. If the supply output from it is not normal, this kind of fault can occur. Contact any service technician. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name / model number / IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.

You likely need to directly connect. In most cases the FM transmitter is too week to broadcast through FM stations, and a direct connection will clear up your issue. It could be as simple as connecting via an Auxiliary cable or Cassette Adapter. If you don't have the ability to use one of those, you can get an Auxiliary Input Adapter. Another solution would be an external FM Transmitter, with a larger range.

A "previously-owned" 17-inch LCD screen probably will cost $30 to $50.
A brand-new 17-inch LCD screen is hard to find -- probably, nothing less than 19-inches is being sold, for $100 to $150.
An audio/video technician will charge $60 to $75 per hour to try to repair your LCD.

So, responsibly recycle (or "free-cycle") your old screen, and purchase a new 19-inch screen.

This is clearly manufacture defect, the laser pickup assembly is the problem, I would take it back to the dealer for exchange.

Sounds like a bad battery. Try plugging DC adapter directly into the bottom of the unit and turn it on - does it still act-up? If so, bad radio; if it works with adapter only, then battery and charging issue.

I have the same problem with my XM2Go. The screen is blank. I ordered a replacement battery but it still doesn't work.

It occured to me after plugging it into the car adapter and turning on the car ignition. I ended up sending the unit to Panasonic and they sent me another. This must be a known issue.

I had a what sounds like the same problem. More than likely you need to "reset"(our account with XM Radio. (Your radio have stop communication with xm except for channel 1) You can call XM or go to XM'S website. If you have not setup your account for internet usage you will have to do so before you can manage (reset) your radio. Once you reset your radio it may take up to 1 hour before it works. My radio took about 15 min. Good luck
