Hi,

Do you have a Bluetooth adapter plugged into the KD-R330?

A compatible Bluetooth adapter (like the KS-BTA100) usually plugs into the rear auxiliary port of the receiver. It then needs to be "paired" with your Bluetooth device, for example, a Bluetooth phone headset.

What you're describing sounds like what can when no Bluetooth device has been "paired" yet.

If you don't HAVE a Bluetooth adapter connected to your KD-R330....is it possible you accidentally plugged something into its rear auxiliary jack? Or the front auxiliary? In other words, is it possible your KD-R330 receiver is mistaking some other device for a Bluetooth adapter?

Don't know if that helps at all...if there's no adapter issue, and nothing connected to the AUX jacks, probably your next step should be a call to JVC, or whatever number you were given for tech support.

On the bright side, since the receiver turns on, and responds to some commands, you probably didn't mess up anything major in the wiring. And, there's also the possibility the receiver is defective....certainly if this continues, and JVC can't help you, trying a replacement might be worth a try.

BTW, feel free to post a reply...I'm going to look further to see if there's any other documented issue besides an adapter that might cause the problem you're having.

My Bluetooth is not working properly.

But is your phone Bluetooth working normally? I mean have you paired or shared files from your phone to another device apart from your car stereo Bluetooth lately? Just asking to pinpoint where the problem is coming from.

My stereo system is showing HF error 68 and will not connect to my mobile phone. The system is a KDC BT50U

This error has nothing to do with installation - there is a bluetooth compatibility issue.
Not all bluetooth devices are compatible, and some only have limited functionality.

If you have already reset the unit, and the problem persists - the phone you are pairing is not compatible with the radio.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.

How do I delete my old phone from my car bluetooth,

Really depends on the type of device you are paired to....
Most have a bluetooth menu where it lists an option to add a device (like a phone or an ipod), and also shows the device currently connected. If you select the device currently connected, there should be an option list to : discover, rename, connect, or remove the device. Selecting "Remove" and "OK" will usually do the trick.
If you provide the model of the car bluetooth you are referring to, I may be able to give you more detailed instructions.

Halfords Parrot kits integrate into the system all beit the steering wheel controls dont work. The audio is muted for incoming calls and the car speakers are utilised. Works well.

How to program bluetooth phone to sony radio cd player

Ok, I have a Sony MEX BT 2600. To pair my phone to the radio, I had to press and hold the BT button for 5 seconds until it flashes, then I have to search for devices on my phone. Xplod comes up. When it does, pair the two and use code 0000. That should do it. Also make sure the BT icon is showing, meaning it is activated for the Sony to connect. When conncted, the radio should show a phone icon for the BT Phone segment of the radio, and then another icon for the BT Audio, both should what looks like radio waves coming off of them, meaning the two devices are connected and recognizing each other.
