Question about SMC EZ Connect g SMCWUSBT-G (SMCWUSBTG) 802.11g/b Wireless Adapter
I have a SMCWCBT-G in my laptop - Windows 2000 (SP4),
and a SMCWUSBT-G2
in my pc - Windows XP (SP3). They are configured to operate in AD HOC mode, there are no other wireless devices. The maximum speed they will comunicate ar is 11Mbps in B mode, they should be working in Super G mode at 108Mbps. After a year dealing with SMC tech support and having them replaced twice I am told it is a problem with my own system. I think I have tried everything. Should they work in G mode at 108Mbps white in Ad Hoc?
