N73 does not have power switch button unlike other usual nokia phones,it consist of flex connector(together with the antenna case) were two pins connected on the upper part of the main board hitting that flex connector, can easily fix by cleaning the circular interface as well as the membrace when power ON is triggering.
DIY method :
* detach the front cover of the phone
* unscrew 6 screw obviously shown.(use T6 precision screw driver or any tool can possible do.)
* remove the lcd frame
* gently lift up the lcd screen (start from the top) then you will see it's flex connector,release it using even a precision flat screw.then remove it.
* you can see another screw in the middle,release it also.
* release the clips (use precision flat screw) both sides in the middle portion.
* now take the entire module (metal shiled & PCB) start from the top then pull the memory card knob,be sure there is no mmc inserted,it may stuck nor damage the mmc.
* On the back cover,you'll see a square type, which is seems to be the antenna and were the power or rubber switch is connected.release the clips from the top using the flat screw.
* you can see a circular metalobject that taped (membrane)clean it using any rust solution,both interface,you can use scrub or scratch it gently.
* Now assembly the phone and make a test if the power ON is working now.
Otherwise,need to test the 2 line were each contact works well or need to replace that flex connector if broken or damage.
* you may bring the phone to any mobile service shop near you for assistance.
