Recover data from Casio SF 8300

I have a Casio SF 8300 which has completely died. Is there any way that I can rescue the data that I have stored on it? Thank you.

Sorry, if it had COMPLETELY died then there is no way to get that info back. That's why at tech support we always recommended that you change the batteries when they started to get low. Sorry again.

If your computer died there is no way getting the serial no.

it sounds like your batteries died out ..if you are getting the data error message, pres the clear button( the on button) to review all old data and transcribe any important info(telephone numbers etc.) then you replace the batteries and hope it keeps all old stuff... if not after the change you need top press the reset button on the back and replace any lost info....good luck

Hi there, I am an IT guy from Toronto, ON, Canada. One of my clients is having a 350-GB LACIE external Etherenet Hard drive which died on her all of a sudden. To me it looks like the hard drive insuide...

You have to press the reset button on the underside.
Note, You will lose all data!

Be sure that you are searching in the TEL directory where the original data was stored. Press the TEL button to change from TEL-1 ---> TEL-2 ---> TEL-3 ---> and back to TEL-1. If you are searching in TEL-2 or TEL-3 and your data is in TEL-1, then that would explain your problem. Here is a link to the manual for your device:
