Ice maker leaks inside freezer

-   My water comes down the back of the freezer, no where near where the ice mold fills up. I can see it running at the bottom of the freezer through some vent type openings. It pools up in the bottom of the freezer and freezes. I have a Kitchen Aid.-   coachbjl

-   I just found this website with the exact same complaint as mine. I figured its has been seen before. My water spills are sporadic but significant with alot of ice forming at the bottom of the drawer compartment of the same side. I was thinking that the ice may periodically not exit the ice tray when dumped which would lead to an overfill. I've called a service guy in hopes that he would have an idea for a fix.-   jfhdds

-   Water leaks from icemaker and "freezes" the ice bin into the refrig.  I checked everything but there is so much ice inthe back it is hard to tell...I guess I will need to defrost and check agina-   rckhydn
