Sir, Iam having problem with my lcd 740n 17" moniter , problem is that when I on the power switch the display appear for one second and than gose off but the power led remain on

Please cheak your E.H.T of moniter.

Monitor STFC (Self Test Feature Check)
* Turn off the monitor
* Plug the monitor power cord directly into the wall socket to remove any surge protectors or APCs from the troubleshooting equation
* Unplug the monitor video cable from the back of the computer
* Turn on the monitor
* The floating dialog box should appear on screen against a black background. If the issue appears during the STFC, the monitor is defective. Get it replaced.

pls chek 1000/25cap ,and inverter fuse, and 5402 ics

pls replace 1000/25 caps

replace bad capacitor on power board (like 820/25v or 1000/2v)

You must set it's performace from display properties( appearance and settings), so video card should work fine.

You cant resolve it tiny resistors in the screen have failed and that is why the lines have appeared, it is a case of live with it or buy a new monitor

this problem can occur cause of two cases 1 problem with LCD panel (replacement can solve) 2 power failure in side moniter (repairing moniter can solve)

The picture board on your monitor is bad, since the lines are causing visual display, it means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault.
