Hi,
Just copy the photos from your cd and paste it in your folder. For copying left click and drag the mouse on images that you want to copy. Right click on any one of the file which you have selected and click on copy. Then go to the folder to which you want to paste, Right click in the folder and click on paste. Thats it. If you want to copy everything from the cd then press Ctrl + A for all then same thing. Thank you.......

How to transfer photos from CF to desktop

Hello

OK, firstly, you basically have 2 options.

Firstly you can put the CF card in a camera and transfer the data using the USB cable.

Or

You can buy yourself a CF card reader , as seen in the image below.

lock123.jpg

This is the easier and much more convenient way of performing this task. You wil be able to buy this reader at any computer or camera store for about $20.

please feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance.

Kind regards
Andrea

I am trying to list an item for sale but cant find my photos

How big are they....depending on the size there are a lot of sites that won't allow a large upload. If that is the case, download a free program called Pixresizer. It allows you to load an original then you pick how big you want the picture to be and still keep the orientation the same. Just rename the picture to another name or it will do it for you. Nice little program.

Photos to CD

Some units don't work with some specific brands of disks. You were unlucky enough to stumble on one of those mismatches.  Just use a CD+R instead.

How do you transfer photos from computer to blank CD/DVD's ? Need to make more space on computer Hard Drive ? How many or much can 1 CD/DVD store ? Need to Know. Thanx. M.K. Bey

1 cd can hold 700mb of photos.
1 dvd. 4700 mb of photos.
depending on camera and the resolution of the pictures you are looking at about 350 pictures for a cd and 2500 for a dvd.

Place the CD in the CD drive of your computer. Go to My Computer and double click on the CD drive (it maybe the D drive or E drive it depends upon your computer setup).
You can then open the folders on the CD disk (the folders may contain the photos) or the photos maybe not be in a folder. You can then Copy and Paste the photos from the CD to a folder on the hard disk of your computer.

You have to specify the path to download the pictures.
Make a folder on your new disk then select that folder like default to download all your pics.

If you want only to pass all your old pic to a new disk, simply select the folder, >> then (right click) select COPY >> then Open the folder (already created) in your new hard drive and with a mouse cursor inside the folder (right click) and hit PASTE ---------All your files will start to copying
