1988 FXRS IGNITION SWITH HAS 3 POLES: L B IG . BIKE HAS 3 WIRES: WHITE RED GREEN. WHERE DO WIRES GO ON POLES?

Red is from the battery, put it on the B, for battery post. Turn the switch on to the 1st position and touch the other wires, first the green, then the white, to the post that you have power to with the switch on, the IG is ignition that is power to the coil and the other is the starter solenoid. Touch the green wire to the hot switch post and you'll either crank the engine or turn the lights on. That's just to test which of the green and white are the ones that go on the IG post. and the other on the L post which is the starter solenoid.

Which wires go where on a 2003 3.4 liter Chevy

There are three posts on the starter solenoid. Two large ones, and one small one. One of the large ones has a braided wire going into the starter. leave this one alone. On the other large ones, you will connect the positive battery cable as well as the large red wire coming from the alternator. The small purple wire connects to the small post on the solenoid. Lastly, on the engine block pointing the opposite way (towards the drivers side) is another stud and you will connect the negative battery cable to it.
Make sure that none of the wires can touch the other posts coming out of the solenoid.

76 k5 blazer starter wiring confusion

Usually one is small enough to fit on the small terminal and the rest fit on with the battery cable.
The small purple wire from the key switch goes on the terminal marked S.
You could do a continuity test and check it with the battery disconnected by checking it back to the neutral safety switch.

Head lights will not come on, fuse is fine, I can jump the system with another fuse located on the fuse panel. Is there a relay somewhere, where can I get the nomenclatures for the part numbers on the...

There are no relays involved in the headlamp circuits on a 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24.
The headlamp switch gets power on pin "C" (RED wire) from fusible link "A" which attaches to the starter solenoid. The headlamp switch sends the power from pin "D" (YELLOW wire) to the dimmer switch pin "C" and the dimmer switch sends the power either to the high beam lights pin "B" (LIGHT GREEN wire) or the low beam lights pin "D" (TAN wire) depending on which position it is in.

How do you hook up the wires to the starter if there is more then one big red wire? do they all go to the same stud?

Hi, there should be one big wire and one smaller wire. The big wire goes on the top terminal, and the smaller wire goes on the start terminal (marked with an "S"). Do you have more than 2 wires?

Replaced starter (tested bad, solenoid). Still won't start. Is there a fuse or link that is blown between the ignition switch and solenoid? 89 chevy c-1500 5.7

On most GM vehicles there are three posts on the starter. The main power supply and then one for solenoid to engage and the other is for ignition system. Make sure the vehicle is in park for automatic transmission with emergency brake on or neutral with the emergency brake engaged and block the wheels as well. I would try to jumper a wire from the main post to one for a second and then the other (just a quick touch) to see if the starter is functioning properly. If this cranks the engine over then check to see if you have the wires connected to the starter post or the ignition post. If they are attached correctly and it still will not crank over you probably have an issue further up in the wiring harness. Possibly a bad ignition switch, bad ground or a broken wire somewhere.
