Car seat has a crack

You need to replace the car seat immediately. The car set is no longer safe if there is a crack. If it is new, return it to wherever you bought it from. You should not purchase used car seats because you don't know if the car seat was in an accident.

How do i take headrest off of my graco 3 in 1?

There is a gray tab on each side where the head rest slides in if you push them in it will allow you to pull the head rest out part way then push in the red head rest adjust button and it allows you to pull it the rest of the way out.

How do i take apart my baby's booster chair to clean it

The removeable eating tray should be dishwasher safe, making it the easiest way to clean & sterilize the most important portion of the chair...the place where the food goes first and little hands love to mix it up :). As for the remaining sections of the chair, although the base and back do not appear to be designed to separate without possibly damaging and/or disabling the seat permanently, even to facilitate cleaning. Although the cover/seat padding is removable and easily cleaned with your choice of cleaning product, that also disinfects without damaging the material or leaving behind residue that might be harmful to your little one...leaving only the base and back of the seat left to sanitize. At this point, I find that sometimes the easiest, even old fashioned approach works best. For extreme cases, it might just be best to toss out the one you've got and purchase a new one that allows for more flexiilityas your child Don't be afraid to take the bare seat ou

Hi Whilst taking the covers off to give it a good clean , I accidentally managed to break the polystrine head it at all possible to buy a replacement???? and where from? Thanks

It is not possible to buy replacement polystyrene for an original Maxi Cosi Priori as this seat was discontinued production many years ago and is now considered unsafe to use due to the age of the seat.

When should you take off the head rest on a baby's car seat?

If you are refering to the buffer that goes around a babies head in some car seats then you are usually faced with a sweaty head versus the need for proper protection. When a baby can support its own head and actively start moving around it may get in the way but with many car seat related things it is better to leave it as long as possible. Any extra protection or support in the event of it being needed is a bonus.

Need information on how to take off harness and re-attach it

On our Edddie Bauer car seats, you have to remove the base from the chair by pulling out the metal rod that goes through both pieces. It only comes out from one side. Then there are several plastic "clips" that the straps run through and hold the fabric in place. Gently pry these clips with a flathead screwdriver by sliding the tool under the clip base and pushing in while lifting up. The arm-rest covers should just be wrapped around and come off easily. Make note of where all the straps go through as it is a little confusing puttting it all back together.
