My sony T1 be do to dark

My camera recenty began taking dark pictures regardless of amount of light or flash settings. Might thisbe due to the CCD?

    My camera will take pictures but no flash will come on. It used to come on whenever there was a need of it but now it doesn't come on at all. Pictures come fuzzy and due to absence of flash, pictures come very dark. I just don't know wats wrong with the camera? Please if some one can help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    Camera takes pictures (with or without flash) but all pictures look like picture was taken at dark without flash.

Picture is dark, flashes of light when in camera mode. cant make out images on screen. menu's seem to work. boots up fine.


This is known problem of ccd imager chip failure in DSC-T1 camera, ccd imager chip will be replaced to get correct live view in camera mode.
Let me know if you need ccd imager part number info.

CCD imager chip is defective in your Sony DSC-T1 camera that is why you see no image in lcd screen.
Replace ccd imager chip to fix the camera problem. Local camera repair shop will help you to replace bad part if you have no experience of electronics stuff repair.

Dsc-t1 Pictures taken inside are dark. Flash is working but red light by reset button flashes when taking pictures and I haven't noticed that before.


There may be the issue with the CCD (image sensor device) of the Camera.

Using a DSC-T1, when taking a still picture the LCD screen is very dark when taking outside and no picture visible inside. This is true of the picture if printed off.


Does camera shows old saved picture correctly? if YES, then its has god bad ccd imager problem and Sony will repair it free of cost.

When i take a photo its very dark and its even when the flash is on and the picture is green and its not on any effect.


It seems problem with CCD Imager that does not convert image to electronic signal for further circuit process. CCD Imager requires replacement.
Sony will fix DSC-T1 free of cost for same problem as per announced scheme.
