Date changes when plugging scanner

Working on Windows XP.
After a while that I have the scanner connected, the date changes to 2206, this jams programs and disturbs my work.

It only happens with the scanner, I removed the driver and reinstalled, also reintalled the OS but nothing.

Any run ins, solutions?
