If you see little White spots on the screen on a darker background image then it's most likely that the DLP chip has failed. The sharp xr32 is z DLP projector. The only way to repair it is to replace the DLP chip. I have some good used ones in stock if you're handy repairing things yourself or you can send it to me and I can repair it for you. Just email me at [email protected] for help.
Thanks
Jim
You may want to read the terms and conditions of use before you post more. ... "I can repair it for you at a reasonable price. Please contact me at [email protected]" would be free advertising and not allowed on Fixya
Thank you Larry for the advice, I will remember from now on.

Any spots that are white are not dust on the output side of the bulb. This is a component failure. IF it was dust it would be dark spots.

you may have touched the bulb while changing it and minute traces of skin oil are on the actual bulb, with the machine cold, try and very carefully clean the bulb

Obviously this is not the first lamp you have replaced in you projector. These are great projectors however, the LCD panels expire quite quickly. You will find that the spots are related to the LCD panels needing to be replaced. This is not an inexpensive maintainence solution as the panels cost about $1500 each.

Hi there
If the colour only shows pink when a source ( i.e. vga or video ) is inserted. Firstly check for a faulty cable - 99% it is the problem. Otherwise you'll have to take it to a repairer as the input could be damaged.
