Question about Computers & Internet
Have you tried the free Live Chat Support? It really works and is fairly fast. They seem to be pretty knowledgeable too. If you want to, you can turn control over to the support people and they will uninstall and reinstall right before your eyes.
Norton360 has a few querks. I've had a couple problems, including the first installation. If you can't get to the support I would suggest you download and run Nortons Removal Tool. You can get it at:
Then try to reinstall 360. You will have to have your CD Key or hopefully you registered with Symantec, in which case they can authenticate your program. After you reinstall it make sure you run LiveUpdate several times. It seems it takes a few tries before it gets everything up to date.
If indeed your CD is not working, you can still download 360 from Symantec, install it and authenticate it if you're registered.
(BTW, if you have Version 1.0, you can upgrade to Version 2.0 for free.)
