Water pouring out from soap tray !!!

Last week when a wash had finished there was still water in drum , thought it was a one off. then went to put machine on again and water started pouring out from the bottom part of where soap tray compartment goes in

Took soap tray out and there was water still filled up to the top of hole where the water would usually take soap into the washing drum..it seems there is a block between there and the drum as no water is going into drum.

its sod law as warranty ran out a month ago,

Could someone please help or has any ideas what I can do

Thanks

Hi Water leaks in a washer are often difficult to trace. There are many possibilities to look for. The problem could be a loose connection, a broken hose, a cracked component, or a defective seal. It could also be a hole in the tub. If a hole in the tub is the problem, it's usually best to replace the washer. Most leaks can be eliminated by tightening water connections and replacing deteriorated components. To stop a leak:

Step 1: Check the lid seal. If faulty, replace with a new gasket.

Step 2: Check the hoses at faucet connections. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

Step 3: Check the hoses at water valve connections. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

Step 4: Check the drain hoses. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

Step 5: Check the inlet nozzles. Tighten connections or replace nozzles.

Step 6: Check the splash guard. Tighten connections or replace.

Step 7: Check any plastic valve. Tighten connections or replace.

Step 8: Check the outlet hose to drain. Tighten connections or replace hose.

How do i make my samsung diamond washer model WF8500NHW use more water in the drum when washing a load

The amount of water in a washing machine is measured to be the optimal amount. If the clothes do not clean, perhaps you should reexamine the powder.

Water runs out of soap box during rinse cycle

Hi there, given this a lot of thought. I had same problem. Could be that you are in a hard water area. Soap is not dissolving properly and building up in the rubber tube between soap box and drum. How I resolved this. Turn off power remove top cover of washing machine and massage the rubber pipe between soap box and drum to soften and cause undissolved saoa to drop into drum. This should rectify problem. Also consider using every month some descaler powder called Descaler cheapest from Axxxxn best wishes.

Machine overflows from front (powder compartment) on starting; cannot appear to clear flow pipe into machine -tried vinegar solution

Pour a jug of water in the soap tray and make sure it goes away fairly easy indicating the tray or hose to drum is not blocked, if flows okay try reducing water pressure to machine only .....

The water to my washer stopped when I closed the lid; now it won't resume filling the tub. What to do? (I have water to other places in the house.)

Try pouring water through soap tray without spilling. you can finish the cycle now. Thereafter check your inlet water connection for free flow.

Water is coming out of the soap dispenser, what do

We had water pour out of the dispenser of our Kenmore HE2 washer. hot water helped us for one load then i realize that a trapped rag was the problem We were actually able to pull the face cloth out of the intake tube without taking everything apart!
opened the washer door and feel around inside the rubber seals to find where the intake tube connects to the drum (upper-left side). felt a small bit of cloth sticking out of the tube and were able to slowly work it out by pulling back and forth. and pulled it completely out thats all it was try this

I was washing a load of clothing and when i went to check, water was pouring out of the space underneath the soap dispenser

The dispenser connects to the drum via a flexible hose, which sounds like your problem. Unplug the washer and remove the tray. Open the top and inspect your connections and hoses.

Doesn't suck up the soap from the tray while washing

Try to open your water tap to full or check the filter in the inlet valve or hose. There seems to be a problem with the water pressure entering the machine.
