Try to check the security level of your anti virus software, it is possible that it restrict the protocol that your mail server is using example ssl.

try to check also the settings of your incoming mail and out going mail server.

535 Authentication Credentials Invalid (VM300) this comes up when i try to send emails, can recieve

This error code is related to the pop and smtp settings on the computer and firewall settings. IF you have made any changes to the computer recently then revert them back, check the account settings in outlook, try send receive after disabling your antivirus..

If this does not help, then call 1-877-805-1027 ..

Unable to send e-mail, keep getting an error message

Are you using Yahoo or other 3rd party email or a client (like Outlook)? If you're using Outlook (or other client) you need to re-setup your email address and password so Outlook can connect with your email source.

Cannot send email

  • check the mail server settings on your pc are the same as those on your ISP's helpscreen 'setting up email'
  • disable any antivirus scanning of email.
1 it does nothing that is not already done by the resident scanner
2 it introduces timing delays that time out mail servers when scanning incoming or outgoing mail, google "email scanning redundant"
  • if Outlook express, check for .dbx corruption, google "outlook express database corrupt"
  • make sure the 'sent items' folder is empty,
not a solution things to check ~75% chance of fix

I use Outlook Express for Emailing, i would like to change my present email address please can you help me to do this? Regards Clive.

Outlook Express is just a software which can send and recieve emails from any email account configured on it(Outlook Express). regardless of yahoo, gmail, comcast.net ,aol.com etc.

So if you want to change your email address and want to use it on outlook express, you need to first create an email account by going to the website on which you want to create an email address.

Once you have created the email address we can look for the POP/SMTP server settings of that particular email account on the internet .
Once we have those(POP/SMTP) addresses we can configure Outlook Express to send and recieve emails for your new email account.

OUTLOOK EXPRESS BACKUP FILE

BAK and BK files usually are backups of other documents or files.

The BAK (or BK) file extension normally represents files that are backup copies of other file. There is no 'standard' file format for BAK files. BAK files can represent virtually anything.

This link will take you to an on-line storage of software I have. Download and run easyrecovery pro. Select E-Mail repair. Select Outlook express.
