Get the esp 2170 to not print light green instead of black ? I keep on replacing cartridge , to no avail !

replacing a cartridge, while the nozzles are blocked won't help.
Realise the printer will mix there colours to get "black" on the paper. So even a full cartridge, can't make the other colours black till the blockage is gone.

Please try this. If you have ink cleaning fluid, (only for printer ink) use that, if you dont have cleaning fluid, use clean water.
Open the printer as if you replace a cartridge. Remove the black one and look tot the bottom of the cartridge holder. There is a little pipe, where the ink should go in. put some drops water or cleaning fluid in there leave it a few minutes. with a tissue dry it and again insert some drops of water or cleaning fluid. Then put in a cartridge and give the printer a black and white print job. Like print a few A4 papers. Let it print till the black comes back. Can take up to 4 pages A4. I hope this will unblock the nozzles.
Please even if you don't need to print, switch the printer on at least once a week. And even better, let it do a bit of printing every week. This will save a lot of frustration.

Lexmark 730 not printing

Regarding the Lex1 cartridge's no printing/severe fade (or similar) during printing, my answers are provided below:

For the poor print quality problem (degraded image quality) you are observing, we suggest you first visit the "Print Quality" page of the "General Information" section of the Inkjet 411 website and follow the suggestions provided:

A. 1. Cartridge & Printer maintenance should also be evaluated - ensure both ink cartridges and flexible driver contact cables (where the cartridge interfaces to the carriage inside the printer) are thoroughly clean:

A.2. Perform a hot-water flush on the suspect ink cartridge, refer to video procedure here:

A.3. Run a quick test print to evaluate cartridge performance (i.e. 4-color test print):

For information on North American ink refill services (for Lexmark 1, 2 and 3 ink cartridges) at a major retailer near you (should you wish to save ~50% on ink costs), general printing problem resolutions or advanced Lexmark printer diagnosis procedures (advanced cartridge diagnostic tests/cartridge error bypass & printer reset methods, etc.), please visit Inkjet411:

Not good colour consistency over an A4 page

I suggest you find a way to align the cartridge. If it contains alignment utility it should give you a better printout. Also check if you have enough ink on your cartridge. Uneven colour usually is due to lack of ink in the cartridge.

Hp officejet 6110 not printing with black ink

Hi lilacky-

Here are some HP support links that might be helpful... and a couple questions to consider.

Q: Is your new cartridge one of these listed below?
"The HP Officejet 6100 series and HP Digital Copier Printer 410 products use the print cartridges listed below:
* HP 56 black print cartridge
* HP 57 tri-color print cartridge
* HP 58 photo cartridge (replaces the HP 56 black print cartridge for six-ink photo printing)" info from: Installing a Print Cartridge Is your new cartridge a refilled cartridge? Some times those have special challenges. Has your cartridge been sitting a while in the box, maybe in a warm spot? Some times even new cartridges dry out a little. Was your old cartridge low or completely gone? Just as a test, if you put it back in your printer does the old cartridge work? Any printer error messages? Can you print a test page or an alignment page for your black cartridge? These might be too many questions but here are some HP support links with some How To information for getting more answers. Please let me know if any of these are helpful. see also: Slow or No Response from Printer -JW

Restart after replace ink cartridge

my CX4800 has done the same thing. I ran the utilities dozens of times, replaced every cartridge and it feeds papers the print head moves like it's printing but nothing is imaged on the paper.
Searching the web is my last chance to fix it before i toss this 18 month old printer and never buy an epson again.

Error e5

Isnt e5 error meaning the cartridge has been previously used before?? Best bet is to hold in both the colour and black copy buttons for about 5 - 10 seconds and this should allow you to print again. If you do not have a copier/scanner, hold in the resume button. (triangle within a circle).
