My printer is a HP Photosmart C7200 All-in-One series. It does not have a cartidge. I cannot see the piece of felt and am wondering where it could have gone. I have checked the back roller and the front feeding system. It doesn't seem to be rolled around any of the rollers. Where elso should I look.

If you can not locate the jam yourself, your local authorized printer center can do it quite easily and I'm sure it would be relatively cheap. If you need assistance locating service please let me know. If you have a moment to accept and rate the solution accordingly.
Thanks,

Here are some measures that could help you get out of this problem:

-Check the gears and rollers for stuck shreds of
torn paper from previous jams. Turn off the printer before you attempt
to remove the bits of paper.

-If you have a laser printer, inspect the printer's paper rollers. They
should be smooth but not shiny. Rollers that are cracked or glazed are
a frequent cause of paper jams and should be replaced by a technician.

-If you have a laser printer, try cleaning the printer's paper rollers
with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol (available at electronics
    shops or drugstores).

If still not solved, please revert back...

    Thanks

When the paper jam in the print

I don't know what make or model printer you are working with but all printers have one thing in common. They all have feed rollers that wear out. If you have cleaned the rollers with simple non-ammonia based glass cleaner and it still jams, time to replace the rollers. If you have replaced the rollers but it still jams, get a stiff piece of plastic the size of letter/A4 paper, remove the paper tray and push the sheet up through the feed roller/registration assembly to force any shards of paper out of the paper path. If it is happening in the fuser area. check the rollers in the fuser to see if they turn freely.

Good luck

Eror coming on the printers (canon mp240) screen. "Paper is jamed" message on computers screen the same time. Is no jamed paper in the printer for sure.

Although you cannot see any paper jammed in the machine, take a look at the sheet that was jammed. Is there a piece of it missing?, if so then THERE IS some in the machine. If no then you may have caught a sensor arm and pulled it out of position so it is stuck and thats why the machine thinks its jammed. the usual place for this to happen is seen when you open the main cover so you can see the ink cartridges. Do this an then kill the power. now slide the printhead/carriage all the way to the left. Now you can see all the gubbins. Ok, under where the carriage runs is a long roller about the width of an A4 sheet of paper. behind this are a row of white roller attached to white fingers. I thin there are 5 or 6 of them. above the 5th or 6th is a small slot in the metal where a black arm should move freely. I bet its stuck with paper. Try to fish out the paper with a paperclip.

good luck

HOW DO I CLEAR THE PAPER JAM 1? I opened all the doors and checked to see if any paper is stuck somewhere. There is nothing to keep it from starting again.

Did you check the fusing section from back door? When you open the rear door you can access the fusing unit (hotest place!!!). Sometimes the paper stacks below the stripping pawls of hot roller and you can't see it easy. Look harder! Pull out the whole paper tray and check below (printer bottom) for paper sheet. Lift upper cover and remove cartridge. You will see little green lever. Lift it up! Look for piece of paper around the little black pawl (paper sensor after registration roller). Restart printer!
Good luck

Please see this solution from Canon. It is recommended you check your manual for the proper procedure for clearing paper jams. Incorrectly removing jams could damage your printer. Trust the following helps resolve your current issue.

If you do not have a manual it can be downloaded from here:

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mx_series/pixma_mx300#BrochuresAndManuals

Issue: More than one sheet of paper feeds while printing

Solution: Clean the paper feed rollers using the MX300 operator panel

sikaku.gif Cleaning the Paper Feed Roller (Roller Cleaning) Clean the paper feed roller if paper is not fed properly. Cleaning the paper feed roller will wear the roller, so perform this only when necessary.

1. Make sure that the machine is turned on, and then remove any paper from the Rear Tray.

2. Clean the paper feed roller.

(1) Press the Menu button repeatedly until MAINTENANCE appears.

(2) Press the l_mark_s.jpg or r_mark_s.jpg button to select ROLLER CLEANING, then press the OK button.

The paper feed roller will rotate as it is cleaned.

3. Repeat step 2 twice.

4. Open the Paper Output Tray.

(1)Put your finger in the rounded indent beside the Paper Output Tray and open it gently.

(2) Open up and set the Output Tray Extension completely by pressing down the hollow on its front side.

5. Make sure that the paper feed roller stops rotating, then load three or more sheets of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper in portrait orientation in the Rear Tray.

Set the Paper Thickness Lever to the left.

6. Repeat step 2 three times.

The paper cleans the paper feed roller as it feeds through the machine.

If the problem is not resolved, wipe the paper feed roller (A) located on the right side inside the Rear Tray with a moistened cotton swab or the like. Rotate the roller (A) manually as you clean it. Do not touch the roller with your fingers; rotate it with the cotton swab.

Printed out a inkjet magnet sheet now won't anything else! Help!

OK Christina, did the whole magnet page come out without any missing tear outs or pieces? You probably have a stuck piece of sticky paper in your feed or rollers. Look in your manual for clearing paper jams and examine your rollers while your at it from stray pieces of paper.

Nec 860 laser printer fuser unit

remove cartridge and leave top door open, then remove two screws in back ; open front sheet panel to find two screws to remove then remove outer case carefully AND PLACE ON LEFT SIDE BECAUSE THERE'S A RIBBON WIRE ATTACHED.
there are 4 screws holding the fuser unit in place, remove AND LIFT OUT BY ROLLING TOWARD YOU to reveal 2 screws to access the red roller assembly!
In my case there was a very tightly wound piece of paper stuck in there not visable without removing the screws on the fuser unit!

Sorted it myself in the end.
Unscrewed the hinged plate covering the transfer charge roller(?) to release pressure on from the 25 sheets of paper.
Then pulled the paper back through.

When we put the computer to print, the paper dosen't want to go thru. The printer jams the paper or it tells me that I have no paper, when it does. the error is (E3). We ready checked and we don't find...

Hi Everyone
I had this very annoying issue today. Checked everything and there seemed to be nothing wrong. Everything was clean!!! I was so annoyed.

Then I took the best solution listed up top and solution # 3. I turned off my printer. Switched the paper guide to A4. Folded my piece of paper as state in "Best Solution". I really made sure the paper was in the rollers.

I opened the top of my printer to be able to see the paper inside the printer. I turned the printer on. As soon as the printer rollers started going. I started to gently pull the paper from the inside.

The paper got caught in the rollers and the printer started going. Out came a piece of cereal that my daughterhad stuck in there that i could not see!!!!!

Now it is working fine!!!!!
good luck!

Labels jamming

Check the entire paper processing path as it sound like either the roller gear is not engaging properly to push the paper out of the top, or the output paper path is somehow blocked, like from a label or something else stuck at the top, the roller gear is damaged, or other obstruction.
