AEG 3.32 cu. ft. / 94 liter Upright Freezer AG788504I

Alarm (by 3 users)

posted by pcox on May 18, 2006

Why does the alarm sound continously? I have defrosted the freezer and checked that the door seal is OK. It is at the required temperature.
I have to press the fast freeze button to silence the alarm but the red light continues to flash.
Thanks
Peter

the alarm is there to warn you that the freezers not up to set tempature.. The reason as I see what you wrote would be a stuck or burnt out auto defrost timer motor. or the units got a leak in the refrigerant line??? good luck
