I have had a Sony MP3 player NW-E002F for over a year and have never managed to make it work Have downloaded Sonic stage for Vista it still wont trandfer music. This is my last attempt to make it work befote I bin the thing

The NO DATA or FORMAT ERROR message may occur if the portable player has been formatted using the format utility in Windows Explorer. To correct this issue, initialize (format) the portable player using the Initialize or Format utility built into your Walkman player.
Reset the unit by pressing the RESET button with a small object such as a paper clip.
If the issue persists, I suggest that you un-install and reinstall the latest version of the Sonic Stage Software and transfer the songs again to resolve the issue. Click here to download the latest version of the SonicStage Software.
