Creative MP3 - Tracks Jumping

I have owned a Creative Zen Touch for just over a year. Recently, many of my tracks "jump" in that they will play normally for a while then momentarily jump to another track (generally the track which was playing previously) please help.....

I have the same problem.

Because there are no moving parts in thes units the only things which could cause the problem are either a drastic problem in the actual electronics or hopefully a problem with your power. If you unit takes an external power supply try it and if the problem goes away then it's your battery to blame. If it is the battery and it's built in check out the June 2006 issue of the Australian PC User. You can find it on line just do a Google. It gives instructions on how to swap the inbuilt battery yourself.
