www.jasonhealy.neet/media/mypage1.html

I basically want to be able to make the the content divs 'bounce' open with jquery (they use motionpack.js now and then the content slider to go horizontally as it should. when i make the divs open the others should either close or the whole page scroll smoothly to the section. i got the divs to open using motionpack but when i put the initial displsy none on them it makes the slider go vertical

any help greatly appreciated!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

What different technologies are there to make a website responsive?

Question: What different technologies are there to make a website responsive?
Answer:
Hello,
1.The basic languages involved are always HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It's about how you write the code and plan around the content.
2.There are additional tools like jQuery that can-do things like detect the type of device that the user is on. You can use tools like Masonry to control the layout of things like image galleries. Grid systems like Twitter Bootstrap, Zurb Foundation, or Pure CSS (by yahoo) can be used to re-arrange your content if you have a very basic site.
3.There are also various JavaScript libraries that can-do things like serve specific images at different resolutions (smaller res for mobile), etc.
4.To give you a simple answer, you have to understand content. I have this argument with almost every web designer, understanding content is more important than understanding programming when planning a responsive site.
5.To give you a simple technical answer, you need to plan your grid starting with mobile. Then factor in that this grid will expand allowing you to let those images either expand or to be replaced with a larger image, then you can rearrange placement of elements or bring in content that is only intended for larger screens, for example a side bar that serves ads for desktop users only.

I want to get music on my mp3 player

After you sync your music collection to a Philips GoGear MP3 player with Windows Media Player, your favorite tunes will always be with you. Backing up your music collection on an MP3 player requires only a USB cable and a computer. Follow these steps to find out how easy it is.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); }); Difficulty: Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need:

  • Philips GoGear MP3 player
  • Computer
  1. Plug in the Philips GoGear to your computer. Use a USB cable to make the connection so you can begin synchronizing your music collection.
  2. Start Windows Media Player. Depending on how your computer is set up, this program may start automatically when you make the connection with the MP3 player.
  3. Find the Sync tab in the media player window. Click on this tab and open the Sync screen. The Sync screen has two panes. The left pane is for the music collection on your computer; the right pane is for the Philips GoGear.
  4. Choose the songs from your collection that you want to add to the GoGear's memory. Check the boxes that are presented by each song title.
  5. Click the "Start Sync" button. The files from your computer are being copied onto your GoGear MP3 player.
  6. Wait for the sync to complete. You can monitor the progress in the "Windows Media Player" window.
  7. Close the media player program. Unplug your Philips GoGear from the computer.
Hope this was helpful? Please comment for more information and thank you for using fixya
