Question about Kitchen Ranges

1 Answer

After self cleaning cycle, the F1 fault code appeared on the clock display. I cannot use the oven anymore. The top burners are working fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Jenn air jgr8750adw range. After using the self clean feature, oven quit working and now have F1 code that won't clear. Also had a F9 code prior to the F1. Replaced the control panel still have the same problem. Could this be caused by the door lock motor? Nothing much else to go wrong on these units that I can see.

    Thanks

Turn off the breaker and wait for 5 minutes. the follow this 3 steps:
--> After turn the breaker back on, go to the range and press "OFF", "OFF", "START", then click on the "clock set", there is a message on the display saying that do you want to delete the error, at this time press on the "START" again. And wait for a while until the everything on the screen disappear except the clock time. Hope this will fix yours. It fixed mine.

Oven shut down in mid use and locked the door. Display said it was on self clean and then switched to error code F1. We have tried unplugging, cooling, cancelling and timing down the clean cycle. This...

f1 error is generally a fault within the electronic control/clock assembly. i wouldnt want to dump the unit just yet.get the model number and look up the control probably $200 or less.

Have a magic chef oven, f1 display after self cleaning, stove top works fine, any thoughts

F-1 is a fault code.

Disconnect the power plug or turn range power off at circuit breaker. Wait a couple of minutes, then plug the range in or flip the range circuit breaker to ON.

Oven control beeps & displays any F  code error (for example
F11) - Electronic control has detected a fault condition. Press
CLEAR/OFF to clear the display & stop beeping. Reprogram
oven. If fault recurs, record fault number. Press CLEAR/OFF
contact an authorized service agent.

F1 Error code

i just had this same issues happen after running the self clean cycle. f1 error, fan would come on, fan would turn off. its not the control board, its the temperature probe. I picked up the part for 40 bucks and put it in myself. plugged the stove back in and it was good to go. the old temperature probe's wires melted during self clean. note to self: clean you over the old fashion way with some elbow grease.
