I want to fax multiple pages, but I never get the option. It just faxes one sheet and then stops.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. And my Realtime setting is switched to off.
I have been successfully faxing multiple pages on my HP 6110 All-in-One for a few years. About a month ago it stopped multiple-page faxing. The machine properly feeds all the pages through the document feeder. After it sends the first page, the display reads "Sending p. 2" and then it does nothing further. The phone line remains open but no more pages are sent. I then have to cancel the fax and send page 2 and each subsequent page as a separate fax. Any suggestions?

Cover Sheet You can have the fax machine generate a cover sheet and send it as the last page of your fax transmission. The cover sheet includes the date and time, the receiver's name and number if a Rapid Key or Speed Dial number is used, the sender's name and number, and the total number of pages. ? Your name and number must be programmed in order for them to appear on the cover sheet (see page 49). ? To have the recipient's name appear, you must dial using a Rapid Key or Speed Dial number with the name programmed. 1 Load the document(s). • SEND READY will appear in the display. • Press RESOLUTION and/or CONTRAST to set the resolution and contrast if needed. Press Cover Sheet. (Flip up the Rapid Key overlay if it is down.) • The display will briefly show COVER SHEET MODE ENTERED and then revert to SEND READY. • To cancel the cover sheet selection, press STOP. 3 Dial the receiving party and transmit the fax. If desired, you can set your fax to automatically send a cover sheet with every transmission (you do not have to press COVER SHEET each time). This is accomplished by setting Option Setting 10 (Auto Cover Sheet) to YES as explained on page 125.
Switch the machine off, remove the document and plain paper tray,at the intake of the plain paper parth there is two gray rollers,Clean them with a strong soap sullution, just make sure the main board dont get wet.
Sounds like you are faxing multiple pages through the document feeder and it is trying to grab a few sheets instead of just one.
If you are doing multiple pages make sure they are aligned and separated.
Maybe fan the pages and then pat them on a level surface to make sure they are aligned.
