Error code LOC ?

LOC means that the control lock has been engaged. (This feature also keeps a child from changing any setting when a load is in progress or starting the dryer with the cat in the unit.) On at least one Frigidaire dryer, press and hold the Options and Select touch pads for at least 10 seconds (until the display changes) to toggle the lock on and off.

Usually, the two keys to press for the Control Lock will have a line between them with a padlock symbol in the middle of the line. (This symbol will be in a very small font.) This may help you find the keys to press if other models of Frigidaire dryers use a different combination of touch pads.

I hope this helps.

On 4 wire outlets the neutral and ground wire were seperate on 3 wire the ground and neutral are combined so hook up the 2 hots (black&red) as before on the 2 outside terminals and combine the green and white together onto the center terminal

What is the sequence of the four wires when hooking up electric

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
I will be brief because this link explains everything:
http://www.the-appliance-clinic.com/change-dryer-cord-3-to-4.html

First picture is a 3 wire conection and 2nd picture is a 4 wire connection. Read the narrative under the 2nd picture for "how to" details.

Note the center grounding strap is removed and the green wire is connected to the chassis on a 4 wire connection.

If you have an owners manual for your appliance the exact connections are in the fornt of the book or in the installation manual. If you need more assistance and can not seem to get it right please respond with your exact model number and I will assist you at that time.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Im at a complete loss with my dryer. It runs but doesnt heat

Check the 230v very carefully You may be hooking it up even with new wire just like the old. You have to have across the line 230
not just 230. Sounds like you need to have an electrician to check
230 across the line at the wall.
Let me know.

I. must change the cable on the dryer to fit the outlet I have

The wiring color code is as follows:

RED - HOT (120 VAC)
BLACK - HOT (120 VAC)
WHITE - NEUTRAL ( 0 VAC)
GREEN - GROUND

The RED and BLACK combined is what comprised your 220 service to run the appliance. The following link explains this in better detail:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r793520-3_prong_4_prong_power_cord_conversion

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

NOTE: This is for United States Standard Wire code. If you reside outside the US, please let me know. In addition, homes built after the year 2000 are REQUIRED to use the 4-wire configuration to be within standards. If you're home already had a 3 wire outlet installed, however, you do not need to change it.

Admiral Dryer: 5 cycle 3 temperature electric

Unplug Dryer
Remove back (many screws)
Clean lint from interior & Vent Chute
check for breakage & parts on dryer floor
check for burn damage (wires burned off or char)
if no burn or char:
could be the "Dryer Coil" itself broke or
a "Snap Disc" usually mounted on the coil housing.
Very Serious!!!! Replace only!!!! Do not ever bypass!!!!
Stay clear of dryer for test start
Be ready to shut it down fast in case of problems
Always replace back & vent chute
Good luck,
Vinnie
