Question about Juster DHT-918C Computer Speakers

1 Answer

Speakers When I turn my speakers on it makes what sounds like a synthesised buzzing noise, then quiets off a little to a medium volume buzzing. The Volme the speakers are set to has no effect. I have tried disconecting the system from the computer and that has no effect. It stops when I unplug the speakers or turn off the power. Thanks, Jeff

If this happens when its not connected to the puter or any input or at any volume then its the capacitors in the power supply are drying up. You need to replace them. Good luck

Speakers had a buzzing/vibrating noise. had them replaced. still making same noise. happens on very low and loud volume. any idea what it could be? possibly the sound board?

maybe just poor speakers.....had a similar problem with an old sony. Replaced the speakers twice and always had a noticeable buzzing. Try running external speakers (computer speakers will work) at low volume to see if you hear it in those. If so, you may have sound board issue.

My logitech x-210 speakers make a buzzing sound

Sounds like the speakers are not plugged in to the computer, or are plugged in to the wrong socket.

The speaker socket on a PC is usually green, a 3.5mm stereo socket.

My speakers are currently turned on, at normal volume. Whether I try to play music or not, a buzzing noise comes from the speakers.

your power supply is bad for the speakers giving them to much power or there bad speakers plug some headphones up and see if it makes the buzzing if it does then you have a power problem with your computer or sound card

Have external gateway speakers

First make sure your sound cards are working properly. 1) Check the master volume of your PC. Go to start menu, control panel, sounds speech and audio devices, sounds and audio devices - i) In volume tab click the speaker volume and check whether all the left, right, etc.. volumes are in medium or high. ii) In audio tab click the volume tab of sound playback and make sure that the master volume is not in mute and all the volumes are either in medium level or at 100%. After making these changes try playing any music. Even if the problem persists go and get your sound card checked in an authorised service centre.

Thanks & Regards,
Shiva
