What is the light that is in the dash under the check fule cap light,mine is on and I don't have an owners manual.

dont know this particular vehicle but locate your owners manual and the fuse box or boxes in your vehicle will be shown in it. there should also be a list of what each fuse in the box is so check them out and make sure they arent blown. if you dont have your owners manual the most common places for a fuse box are under the dash on either the passenger or drivers side, under the hood (usually next to the battery but not always), on the side of the dash (drivers side) as soon as you open the door and on rare occasions under the back seat or even in your trunk.

courtesy light fuse, but if it is a fuse then what made it pop. I would also check the dimmer switch and the multifunction switch.

Check your owner's manual or at least try to describe what the icon looks like. what kind of solution were you expecting when you just tell someone there's an icon in your dash you don't recognize?

is your fule pump working?, check pressure,also check filter is it fule injected,or does it have a carburator?
if a carburator( don't crank while doing this) look down into carb while working throttle ,you should see the jets in the carb spray fule into carb if not you are either out of fule,or its the filter,or pump.
if fule injected if v8,there is a little valve on fule rail, it looks kind of like a valve stem on your tire,it may have a cap on it.remove cap press valve as you would to let air out of your tire,(WATCH YOUR EYES!)
fule will squirt out, if not same as above with carb.

Check all the fuses.
But the same fuse works a number of things such as the coutesy lights and an under hood light if equiped. If your interior and any under dash lights work then the fuse is good. You could also have a bad ground or a bad socket. Or even the GPS plug may not fit will in the cigar lighter socket well enough.

the owners manual should give you the location of the fuse block and which fuse does what. If the fuse is OK you will want to check the socket and make sure it is clean and the bulb is making good contact. Then the switch which is usually mounted on the post that your pedal is mounted to under the dash. As you depress the pedal the switch will close turning the lights on. If you don't have a owners manual for the car you might pick up a Chiltons manual at a local parts store for your car. SOmetimes you could get just the diagram from a dealers parts counter, but they may want to sell you a manual..

First check your owners manual for fuse box location and check for any blown fuses. Next check the brake peddle under the dash for a switch, which is mounted to the peddle arm and turns on the lights when the peddle is pressed in. If the switch has worked loose and is not being pushed when you are pressing the peddle the lights will not come on. Hope this helps Fix Ya up.

Why would it be a fuse?
You have front parking lights? Then no fuse

If it was a fuse ---would that fix it -- NO it wouldn't
Why do fuses blow?

Have you even removed the tail light housing & checked the bulbs,
or checked the sockets for ground or under truck for wiring
harness issues?

Don't need a manual to check all fuses under the dash &
in the box near brake booster

It's time to replace the flasher relay.The signal flasher is located under the dash near the steering column.Also check for the indicator bulb.Replace them if damaged.
