Question about Whirlpool Kitchen Ranges
I have a whirpool accubake gas/electric oven can not find model or serial number though. The oven will not ignite and the self cleaning is slso inop. It has an electric ignitor. he burners work and the broiler ignitor works. I checked the wire to the ignitor have have power and also ohmed the ignitor and it checked good that way but i don't know if that is a proper check or not. Just not getting the spark there. Any suggestions?
Sounds like the spark module to me. you need to find the model # for this one. if you have the electrical schematic, you can ohm out the spark module.
the model & serial #'s should be under the door frame, when you pull out the bottom drawer.
