Question about Computers & Internet
I have had the Hotdrive mobile 2.5 HDD for a few years and it has always worked perfectly. Now, when I plug in the two USB cables, the green light comes on and the green arrow in my tool bar on the computer comes on, but nothing else happens - the computer is not reading the hard drive. When I go
to My Computer, there is no icon for it. I've tried this on two different computers with the same results. One time, an orange light came on on the ahrd drive and went click click click befiore the green light came on. I am unable toa ccess all the backed-up info on this hard drive!
Is there a solution to this problem? What can I doi? How can I retrieve my information?
Data recovery person can recover the data for u using recovery software.pls do not open or dismantle.
for any further queries feel free to ask.

No! do not dismantle anything, forget about that enclosure thing.
the hard drive is malfunctioning & dismantling it may further the damage.
as the problem here (which quick responders for the rating are not reading) is retreiving the data from the hard drive, you must take it to a data recovery specialist.

Hello all out there. Well, so far no one has responded to my plea for help and I paid my good money for the services - so where are y'all??? the problem is even worse now as I urgently need to access the hard drive to obtain a certain file. I REALLY need this help!!

You can try to use a different Hard drive enclosure because this can also be a problem with the enclosure, if the new hard drive enclosure works good , but if still not working you can try to take that hard drive out of its enclosure then connect it to a laptop and hopefully that way we can retrieve the data on it...
Hope that helps..........

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
