Question about Televison & Video
Sometimes the laser assy. carrieage jams. There is a lot of disassembly involved to reach it; but, if yo manage to access it, gently slide it away from the center. Do not touch the lens with your fingers, and use a clean cotton swab to clean the lense. MAKE SURE YOUR TV IS UNPLUG. THE THICK RED CABLE PROTRUDING FROM THE SIDE OF THE TV TUBE HAS SEVERAL THOUSAND VOLTS; SO, DO NOT TOUCH IT. AND DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SEE IS THE LASER IS WORKING - IT WILL CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO YOUR EYES. MOST LIKELY YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE IT ANYWAY, IFTHEY ARE USING AN INFRARED LASER..
