Problems with Acomdata 250 in Leopard

I can't connect or log in my external hard drive in OS 10.5 (Leopard) i also can't find a driver to fix the problem. I would like to know how i can fix it.

First make sure you follow this guide to uninstall the old version of SecureHD Login you have: http://www.techsupportlive.com/techsupport/MAC/SecureHD_Login/SecureHD_Login_(Uninstall)_User_guide_for_Mac_X.pdf

By default, the disk is formatted as FAT32, a format that bothe the MAC and PC understand.

Try checking your power cord adapter.
I found the same problem was with the cord.
Luckily, I had another Acomdata HD cord to check the problem.

Freezing Upon Log-In attempt


red usually means that reading has encountered an error or that it has encounter a corrupt file thats why it freezes. try to recover those files using recovery software.

External hard drive will not turn on


Try a new enclosure, the case is just that. A hard drive cannot actually repaired. You cant open it and fix it. It's either reliable and functioning or not. Purchase a new enclosure and test the old drive. Data recovery should be the last option..most places charge a down payment on a car, and most of the time ( in my 12 years ) its the cheap enclosure.
