my Dell monitor was left on while i cookd dinner lastnight.....when i went back to finish what i was doing the monitor was black and the green light was flashing. i unplugged it and even replaced tthe power cable today

check the status of your system, whether the cpu is working or not, if you have hardware knowledge take out the RAM and puts it again on its slot
