CANON iR C2105!! no display on the LCD!

Hi there!!
 im having this problem with my canon copier... when i start the machine.. the LCD display turns on.. then about after 15 seconds the display goes blank... well the machine is still on..n running.. its only the LCD screen n the control panel part goes off.. so in short i just cant make any copies...
need ur help desperately.. thanx for ur time!

Try adjusting the contrast, open front door and look under the panel there should be an adjustment screw for the contrast, if it doesnt work I suspect it is the panel itself that is bad.

hi . be sure there is no paper jam inside the machine . turn off and on if problem persist maybe some of the flag sensors maybe stuck.

I have canon ir400 machine... it displayed error codes e604 and e315... what i do? plz help me....

Canon ir2116j the problem is after pressing the print butten the lamp carrage not moving right side and display light shut down then again reset what is this problem

wich is the error code that machine shows? i.e. E00002-000
You said that machine says turn off and on, these happens when the error code is present.
And by the way do you mean IR2016J, 2116 do not exsist!

very common problem this one, just turn off the machine at the power point and then turn machine back on should fix the problem,
if it continues to happen the firmware needs to be reloaded and you will need a canon tech for that

turn machine off at power pont and that will reset it, If not you will need to get the firmware reloaded by a canon Technician

hi if yo have knowledge on electronics try to remove the boot rom and memory and let the machine for 10 minutes,then put it back the memory and boot rom,and turn on the machine.if the same thing try to update the firmware using sst
