Why miter saw dws780 wont turn on

Have you checked the manual. My Dewalt Dws780 was not turning on, then I checked the manual and able to start it. There was some sort of plug issue with my saw but thankfully it sorted out quickly. I got this saw from this video recommendation.

My hitachi c10fs miter saw wont turn blade, can hear motor engage,,dont know if it is the elec. brake

If you can hear the motor engaging but the blade is not turning, there could be several possible reasons for this issue. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem: Check the power supply: Make sure the saw is properly plugged in and the outlet is functioning. You can also try plugging the saw into a different outlet to see if that makes a difference. Check the blade: Make sure the blade is properly seated and tightened on the arbor. If the blade is loose, it may not spin properly. Check the belt: If your miter saw is belt-driven, check the belt to make sure it is not loose or broken. Check the motor: If the motor is running but the blade is not turning, it could be a problem with the motor. Check to make sure the motor is properly connected to the blade and that the motor is running smoothly. Check the electrical brake: If your miter saw has an electric brake, it may be malfunctioning. You can check this by unplugging the saw and removing the blade. Then, turn the saw on and see if the brake engages. If it doesn't, the brake may need to be replaced. If none of these troubleshooting steps solve the problem, it may be best to take your saw to a professional for repair.

How can I adjust the picture colors?

There are several performance issues you may encounter with your Protron PLTV-37C LCD television.
Some problems include the television not turning on, issues with the TV's picture and issues with the TV's sound.
Depending on the type of problem you encounter, there are several options available to you to solve it.
Power Issues
Check the TV's main power cord. If it is not plugged in or is loose, securely plug it in to an electrical socket.
Unplug the television and plug it in to another electrical socket.
If the one it is plugged in to currently is bad, the television does not receive power.

Try turning the television on with the remote.
If that does not work, try turning the television on with the power button on the TV's front panel.
If that works, then remove the battery cover from the remote.
Remove the current batteries and replace them with fresh batteries.
Picture Issues
Check the video cables.
If they are loose or disconnected, securely connect them.
Adjust the television's brightness.
If the brightness is set too dark, images on the screen are extremely difficult to see.
Check the power indicator on the front panel of the television.
If it is red, the television is in power-saving mode.
Simply press any button on the remote to bring the television out of power-saving mode.
Audio Issues
Check the audio cables. If they are loose or disconnected, securely reconnect them.
Turn to different channels and adjust the volume.
It is possible that some channels are coming in quieter than others.
Access the audio options from the main menu. Check what audio setting the TV is at.
If it is set to "Mono," change it to "Stereo."

I plugged in my table saw and everything worked just fine. I unplugged it, and then came back a few minutes later and turned on the table saw again. This time the motor was not running. Power was getting...

First of all, how did you determine that power was getting to the motor? If you can test for power with a voltmeter at the motor connections themselves and show power then the switch is OK and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Turn off power and attempt to turn the blade " CAREFULLY" and if it moves easily then the motor is probably defective and will have to be replaced. After turning the motor and finding it easy to turn, then turn the power back on and try to start the saw again. Be carefull because the saw may start. If the blade will not turn then the motor is definitely defective and will have to be replaced.

Good Luck!

First time using, plugged in, power light/laser works. Saw will not turn when pressing trigger.

Same problem with mine but I.found a guy's blog on google and he had identical problem and found the "pre travelicon1.png switch," that they saw fit to put in the saw was the culprit. It's not a typical switch and has issues making contact often times (Ryobi are you listening?) He was able to take it apart and make a adj/repair (instructions he provides on blog) but who knows how long it will last? Here's the link:)-> http://www.woodtalkonline.com/topic/9508-ryobi-circular-saw-broken-and-fixed/

My table saw stopped suddenly -- what could be the problem?

Things to check:

  • Is it plugged in all the way? I've had a plug come slightly loose and lost power, though it was not immediately obvious.
  • Is there power from the outlet? Can you plug something else in and it works? If no, check breaker or fuse box.
  • Do you have a reset button on the front of your saw? If so, hit it and try turning the saw on.
  • There's typically a troubleshooting guide in the back of your manual as well. If you can't find your manual, try checking Sear's web site for manuals using your model number.

Power surge

This is kind of hard to diagnose, but i can try to help you out. I had a problem like this in my own house. A laser printer when it first starts to print it pulls an incredable amout of electricity. Therefor it can make a few things happen. It can make your battery kick in which can be telling the pc to turn off. Or it can be blowing the fuse in your actual circuit panel. To test if you need more power i would run a heavy duty extension cord to the printer and plug it in to a seperate outlet than you can be certain is not on your comptuers circuit. If it works without turning your computer off you know your problem is your electric circuit in your house. I would then call an electrican. If it still does not work after trying the above which i dont see a happening then i would be kind of stumped :)...
Try this above step and let me know. thanks again
Steven.
P.S. my computer worked fine for along time too before i saw any power issues.

Power supply issues

hi there, i recommend replacing the entire board. once you have a short like this, the micro board itself will become useless. the thin micro circuitry has become separated within the layers, preventing a closed current transfer. its best to order a new canvas so to speak.
