Hi The drive belt (or belts) of a washing machine may become worn or damaged, causing noisy operation or stopping the washer entirely. A damaged drive belt is easy to replace. Remove the back panel of the washer to gain access to the belt.

Why is it out of balance?

One of the feet is not in proper contact with the floor. All the feet are adjustable in height. The washing machine must be checked level, front to back and side to side using a long spirit level. All feet must be in equal loading contact with floor.

Regarding loading, a small load can often be worse as all the clothes end up on one side. Run a cycle empty and see what happens? Run a cycle full of towels, 3/4 fill the drum and see hat happens?

Finally, is the machine new? Did you remove the locking bar inside. If this is fixed in place there is no dampening from the floating springs and shock absorbers. I did that once after a move!

My washing machine shakes during spin mode

The machine must be level or it will shake. There should be feet under the front which screw in and out. Get a spirit level and adjust the feet so it is sitting level front to rear and side to side.
Also make sure it isn't rocking slightly when it's not running - if so screw out one of the feet till it's steady. If you don't have a spirit (bubble) level compare how vertical the sides are to the wall/cupboards etc. However a level is best as even a little lean can make it shudder.
Or your putting too much washing in it!
