Plug a USB cable into the back of the PSP and into your PC or Mac. The USB cable needs to have a Mini-B connector on one end (this plugs into the PSP), and a standard USB connector on the other (this plugs into the computer).
Scroll to the "Settings" icon on the home menu of your PSP.
Find the "USB Connection" icon in the "Settings" menu. Press the X button. Your PSP will display the words "USB Mode" and your PC or Mac will recognize it as a USB storage device.

After that you can now transfer file from PSP to computer and vice versa...

Hope that helps..............

Why don't the usb ports work on the side of monitor

is there an extra cable, aside from the Power Cord, and the VGA Cable? if not, look on the back of the monitor, there should be a similar plug in like a USB printer would have, its kinda square. If there is, you just need a USB printer cable to make it work.

Where do i get a replacement usb cable for my seagate 100 gb usb 2.0 portable hard drive

Try Seagate.com or newegg.com if you can't find one at a local computer store. You can try using a regular USB cable, the second usb on the original cable is in case your computer does not power the drive on a single usb connection.

We don`t know how to download songs on the psp

connect the psp using the usb lead supplied, go to the psp in the connection settings and slect usb connectivity.

Go to your pc and highlight the song you want to load, right click and select copy.

Go to my computer and then rifht click>explore, there you will see your psp listed as another drive.

Right click on this drive>explore and look for the MUSIC folder, if there is,nt one make a new folder and call it Music.

Open up the folder, right click and select 'Paste', the song will now be in the music folder ready for you to listen to when disconnected from the pc

Maxtor one touch 4 mini- not connected! The single USB cable is in the Computer USB port.So far so good. When the second USB connector-with 2 cables is inserted to another Computer’s USB Port I start...

Quite strange.. I would suggest that maybe one of the usb ports is faulty.. Or ofcourse, one of the cables.. Or the usb port has been mis-wired inside the pc. That has been done before. Anyway, do you have access to 2 usb drives.. I mean micro/thumb drives? I'd test each port by itself first, to see if they operate correctly, then if they do, use the two usb drives in the two usb ports at the same time, to test read & write.. I guess there are other things you could try, like going to control panel, system, hardware, device manager & checking on the status of the usb ports. That may tell you something worthwhile. Whatever you do, test each port with the one single cable. Yer, this is a strange fault. Let me know how you go. Rgds,
